Lay Odds
1) In sports betting this is when money is placed on a team favored to win. Since the wagerer has the advantage they must risk more money for a smaller payoff. Seel also laying odds and giving odds.
2) In Craps this is when a side-wager is placed on the Don't after the come-out roll. Again the odds favor the wagerer so they must risk more for a smaller payoff.
